Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: October 26, 2026
WCAG Pulse helps teams find accessibility problems, so our own site should be usable by everyone. This statement covers the public pages of wcagpulse.com.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
Current status
Partially conformant. Automated scans of our public pages find no issues, but we have not yet tested with screen readers or done a full manual review, and some areas listed below are outside this review.
How we test
- Automated scans: every public page in our sitemap is scanned with axe-core 4.14.0 (the same engine our product uses) against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules plus axe best practices. The latest scan found no issues on the pages we checked, at any severity.
- Keyboard test: a scripted Tab-key walk through the home, pricing, free checker, contact, sign-up and one documentation page. Every focus stop showed a visible focus indicator, a "Skip to main content" link comes first, and focus never got trapped.
- Not yet done: testing with screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver) and a full manual review. Automated tools find only part of all accessibility problems.
Known limitations
- Signed-in app: the dashboard and other pages behind sign-in are not yet covered by this review.
- Assistive technology: we have not yet tested with screen readers, so some problems may only show up there.
- Third-party content: payments run on Stripe's hosted checkout, and the footer shows a Product Hunt badge image. We don't control their accessibility.
